Time limits on med mal claims

I was just looking at comments made by Arizona malpractice attorney David Patton regarding the time limit to initiate an action. Thanks for your comments David !! There is a 2 year cut-off in AZ to file for med mal after the incident took place. Thats an absurd NOT in my humble opinion (IMHO). It reminds me of a Florida attorney I am aware of who shows up in hospitals with a clipboard trying to get victims to hire him for personal injury cases. This creative individual at one time was known to research death certificates in his Florida hometown to contact relatives so he could file for wrongful death cases. A 2 year cut-off will prevent frivolous cases where the family never really had any intention to sue in the first place.
