Just a girl in shorts talking about whatever: Now that Lindsay Lohan has quit flushing her career down the Hollywood toilet—and is well on her way to being one half of a Lesbian Power Couple, she has recently had some things to say on politics.

But what is even better is the Obama refusal to associate with Lindsay Lohan. I thought the Democratic Party was all about inclusion before this. Apparently not as far as the gays and lesbians and career alcoholics. Wow.

On the heels of blasting John McCain’s selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, Lindsay Lohan reportedly got a bit of a jolt from an unexpected quarter: the Obama-Biden campaign.

Apparently, LiLo was interested in becoming very involved in the Democratic ticket’s bid for the White House — even offering to host a series of events appealing to younger voters.

However, a top source in the Barack Obama team tells me the actress ”is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us.”

Why would the Democratic party NOT want a 21 year old party girl falling down flat on her face drunk at some of the remaining fundraisers? Exactly. This is an Absurd NOT. No one wants a young drunk who has been to rehab 3 times and continues to flaunt her out of control alcoholism. Got to give them the thumbs up Demos.
